Sheesh Mahal - Hindi Video Film is the film by the well-known Parsi theatre director-turned-film-maker Sohrab Modi. Thakur Jaspal Singh, debt-ridden occupant of the palatial Sheesh Mahal, continues to live extravagantly despite the sage counsel of his children. Evicted eventually, the family moves into the nearby slums. Jaspal's son finds employment in a mill, but is disabled by an accident.
