Sharon K. McGhee, author of The PocketBook Monologues, has compiled a collection of stories from women of color who reveal their heartfelt emotions about intimacy. The book and stage production highlights each woman's brutally honest, funny and poignant recollections and explores never-before told stories about their "pocketbook." "Pocketbook" is the term used by many older African-American women to describe the triangle that separates their thighs.
