Sharon Clark has dedicated herself to keeping alive the tradition of the "girl singer" so common during the early days of jazz. Her repertoire includes not only those songs we now call "jazz standards" but also the lesser known songs performed by her heroes and heroines of the jazz world - Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Johnny Hartman, Nancy Wilson and others.
