Shalom Sesame Screening December 2, 2010

The Children’s Museum of Richmond is proud to be partnering with PBS and the Community Idea Stations to bring a special viewing of the latest edition of Shalom Sesame, “Chanukah: The Missing Menorah,” to CMoR Central. This educational and entertaining feature is perfect for the holidays and finds the furry and loveable Grover with celebrity host Anneliese van der Pol (That’s So Raven, Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast) as they travel to Israel and celebrate the festival of Chanukah.

Families can view this special episode for free in our holiday village every hour from 10am until 4pm.The Genworth Foundation Holiday Village invites our CMoR guests to explore the cultural symbols, family traditions and customs of six holidays celebrated in Richmond and around the world.Through informal experiences - reading a book or playing a game - visitors have the opportunity to learn and understand together.
