Shakespeare on Rollerskates December 9, 2012

A fun filled, fast paced, action packed course designed to deconstruct the main themes, plot and characters in the one of the plays and understand more fully the wonderful works of the Bard and his use of language. Students create a 10 minute socio-drama using physical theatre and perfomance techniques to showcase their understandings of the main points or timeline of a particular play highlighting the timelessness of Shakespeare's works. No previous study of Shakespeare is required however familiarity with the children's versions of some of his stories would be advantageous. This course is suitable for students in Years 5 to 6.
