SECOND ANNUAL SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK SERIES HEADED TO

CARMEL'S WEST PARK



July 2007--City Center Children's Theatre and Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation have teamed again to bring its second annual Shakespeare in the Park series to Carmel 's West Park July 20 and July 22. The show, an hour adaptation of COMEDY OF ERRORS will be directed by Lynne Perkins.



The show is fast, fun and lively about the mistaken identity of twin brothers and twin servants. "All of our performances are for family audiences so we thought this story would be perfect. COMEDY OF ERRORS reminds me of the Groucho Marx movies or the Three Stooges, which is so much fun for kids to experience." states Wendy Farber , producing director. "We've put together an amazing team of people this year to keep the mission of the children's theatre alive; educating kids to literature through the use of professional theatre.”



Show times are Friday July 20 at 6:30 pm and Sunday July 22 at 2:00 pm at West Park , 2700 W. 116th Street , Carmel , IN 46032 . The event is free. Bring a picnic basket, blanket and the kids.
