Professor Emeritus at York University
He was both a member of the English Department and the Chair of the Theatre Department. He has had several plays professionally produced, four of them published as Public Lies and Other Plays. His play, Detaining Mr. Trotsky, won a Chalmers Award and several Dora nominations.
