Last week Tony Touch blessed the Vagabond's wheels of steel with a journey through hip-hop, freestyle, R&B, salsa and just about everything good you could think of. A-Train crushed the barroom with some awesome assistance from Johnny Strokes and DS, while Doormouse got things heated for Toca in the main room. Out back Caso brought a sweet summer vibe with a set of Tropicalia, Calypso, Reggae, Son, etc. before MGA brought the House, quite literally. There was a free flow between us and our good friends next door at No Brainer where Capsule kicked ass. Good musical vibes were in full effect.

Now we get ready to GET LOW again and celebrate Slim's birthday. DUB WAR (New York's biggest dubstep night) founder JOE NICE is coming down from Bmore to drop heavy bass weight with JUAN BASSHEAD, the Bassmakers SECONDHAND SMOKE & TRIP1, JOEL THE HUTT, and a DJ set from Miami Bass Warrior OTTO VON SCHIRACH. Holding down the other side will be the SECONDHAND OUTFIT, BLEUBIRD and NAME BRAND, who will be DJ'ing some rock and rapping over it. Confusing? Maybe. Awesome? YES! Top it off with the POEM DEPOT typing poetry on any topic you want throughout the night, plus a screening of Slim's favorite movie, Purple Rain, and you have a fucking party on your hands.

As if that wasn't enough, Junk Roxx is doing alive Get Low mural and we are bring a piñata to top off the celebration. Do your job!
