Shadow Circus Puppetry returns to Hollywood August 9, 2008

This summer, San Francisco’s Shadow Circus Creature Theatre is bringing its belligerent puppet show back to Los Angeles! Shadow Circus uses life-sized latex puppets to create a seething underworld of drugged-up dinosaurs, giant cockroaches and bizarre mythological beasts and engages them in scripts full of pop-culture parody and social satire.

Accompanying them are musical acts Nora Keyes and Uni & her Ukelele, as well as LA local Kimberlee Rose and New York burlesque performer Dottie Lux!

The event will be held on Saturday, August 9th at the CIA, 11334 Burbank Blvd, N. Hollywood. Doors open at 10:00 pm and admittance is $12. This performance will contain explicit content and is for audience members 21 or over..
