Shades of Asia: From Turkey to Japan May 5, 2006

Be prepared to be delighted with the works of more than a dozen artists. There are beautiful carved soapstone sculptures by the immensely skilled Wen Xie, glass by Eleanor Brownridge, Turkish ceramic tile by Lale Celen, textiles creations, woodcut prints by Rose Hirano, batik on silk by Farook Ikram, and of course, paintings in diverse media on canvas as well as paper.

If you have been attending all shows here, we are pleased to tell you that most of the artists in this show are new to Gallery Streetsville. Please invite your friends and work associates. It will be like a mini-tour of Asia, right here in Mississauga!

Exciting shows happen at Gallery Streetsville every four weeks or less because a special exhibit may be on in one or more of our gallery rooms. More events will be added to our website as soon as they are booked. It gives you multiple reasons to come by and enjoy, be inspired and perhaps buy a piece for your home or office , or as a special occasion gift.
