Come join SFMOMA & British artist Joshua Sofaer to participate in this unique Scavenger Hunt experience!

On the morning of the hunt, Saturday, September 30, 2006, each of the 50 teams selected to participate will receive 100 clues. These clues help teams earn points — and points translate into prize money. After deciphering the clues, the teams must beg, borrow, barter, and bluff their way around the city, scavenging the items required. At the end of the day, teams can expect to have collected an array of strange and wonderful objects, many of which relate to artworks in the SFMOMA collection. The team with the most points wins a $4,000 cash prize.

You are invited to organize a team and apply to participate. Applications will be accepted from August 1 through September 25, 2006. Only 50 teams will be selected. Teams must consist of four members age 18 or older. Download the PDF application
Mail completed applications to SFMOMA, Attn: Jasmine Granados, 151 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, or drop them off in the designated box at the SFMOMA information desk in the Haas Atrium. Accepted teams will be notified in the week of September 18, 2006; each participating team must pay a $100 registration fee at that time.
