995 Market street
San Francisco, California

With scant professional training but plenty of hustle, Canadian brothers James and Merritt Reid left their mark across the width of our city. From the turn of the 20th Century through its first few decades, the brothers designed an impressive number of San Francisco's buildings, like the Cliff House and the Fairmont hotel. Approximately two-hour ride; have a big lunch beforehand, we'll stop somewhere for a snack. This ride is free for San Francisco Bicycle Coalition members rides (a $5 donation from non-members is appreciated); rain cancels rides.
