SFAI SPRING GALA 2007

For the theme of our SFAI Spring Gala 2007 on Saturday May 12, we are celebrating the powerful cultural, global, and educational relevance of video and new media art by presenting Pamela and Richard Kramlich with the President’s Award for Excellence. Dinner will be served to guests on the spectacular terrace of the Russian Hill campus, in a stunning environment of panoramic views and large-scale projections of video and media work by SFAI artists. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner and dancing. Black tie / white attire encouraged. Individual tickets start at $500, with tables ranging from $8,000 to $15,000.

The Gala is our most important fundraising event of the year. It allows us to bring together artists, collectors, gallerists and friends for one beautiful and often adventurous evening. This year we will continue with that tradition. All proceeds support the $4 million in scholarships and financial aid offered by SFAI annually.

Held in conjunction with Wherever We Go, the exhibition in our Walter and McBean Galleries
