The call of the wild beckons on Thursday, January 26 at 6pm for the second SF Sketchfest Comedy NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences. Sharks, rare butterflies and iridescent jellyfish play host to the rarest creatures of the comedy realm including Night at the Museum co-screenwriters Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, also known for creating and starring on Reno 911! and for their work with the beloved comedy troupe The State; improv and stand up extraordinaire Greg Proops, who will perform stand-up comedy as well as present his acclaimed Proopcast, The Smartest Man in the World; thinking-persons comedians Rick Overton, Will Franken and Brian Malow; the amazing three-man Los Angeles improvisational troupe Convoy; and in their only Festival appearance, the brilliantly absurd conceptual sketch comedians Kasper Hauser. New Wave City DJs Shindog & Andy T., from the city’s top 80s dance party, will be spinning throughout the night.

NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences features music, creatures and cocktails every Thursday for guests ages 21 and over.
