SF Online Community Report MeetUp, Wed. Jan. 28th, 7 PM January 28, 2009

The fourth Wed. of the month is the free monthly gathering of online community managers, enthusiasts, and innovators to meet and discuss tools and strategies for building and managing effective communities.

Happy 2009 to all of you Online Community enthusiasts! We're kicking off the new year with guest speakers from Ning, an online social networking tool for anyone to start their own customizable social network. Their presentation will lead into an informal discussion on online community building, engaging users, and making the most out of Ning and other online community platforms. Come join us!

Speaker Bios: Laura Gluhanich is the Director of Support for the white label social network, Ning. Laura started at Ning in 2007 as a Community Advocate, after spending four years in restaurant management in her native Michigan. Evan Goldin works as Ning's Online Community Manager. Prior to Ning, Evan worked as a consultant for the City of Palo Alto.
