Obviously I can't afford to transport all my SF bay are blog friends to London for this event (thanks for pointing this out to me) this even IS in San Francisco, CA, USA.
This is part of my 'personal' settings as when I was first invited to upcoming, I was in London trying to attend a geek dinner during a trip.
I didn't see any direct ways to fix this setting, so I'll probally have to ask Support for help.

When you edited it, it looks like the venue got set to the first venue listed in the dropdown. Alphabetically, it was a venue in Chinatown. Crazy, eh? It's fixed.
