"Sex, Lies + Corsets" features two one act plays...
"The Stronger" by August Strindberg, directed by LADCC award-winner (and LA Weekly Nominee) Elina de Santos, is set in the 1890's in an elegant ladies cafe. Watch Mme. X and her archrival and once best friend, Mistress Y, fight over the loss of their friendship and the betrayal of an affair. Themes that still remain relevant today!
Jump 100 years to the future in the 1990's with "Rosemary with Ginger" by Edward Allan Baker and directed by Jeff Murray, recipient of the 2007 LA Weekly Career Achievement Award in Theatre. "Rosemary with Ginger" cleverly explores the story of two very different sisters fighting to save their marriages, children as well as their own relationship.
