Seventh Annual Mahogany Dime Awards April 17, 2010

The seventh annual Mahogany Dime Awards will feature as its host, Roz Ryan, known for her role as Amelia Hetebrink on the hit sitcom Amen. She also had starring roles on The Andersons, Good News, and I Think I Love My Wife. She is currently starring in the hit musical, Chicago.

This year’s recipients include Dr. Bertha Maxwell-Roddey, Sadiyah Shakur-Saleem, Joselyn Williams, MaryAnn Black, Doris Ann Shipman, and Nnenna Freelon.

The proceeds from the Mahogany Dime Awards will benefit the Mahogany Dime Foundation an organization with programming designed to foster healthy self esteem in under-privileged African American girls.
