Seven Passages: the Stories of Gay Christians November 7, 2011

In honor of the University of Michigan Spectrum Center’s 40th Anniversary, the Library Diversity Committee presents the film...Seven Passages: the Stories of Gay Christians. Over the course of four years, 127 men and women from Western Michigan were interviewed about what life is like for them as gay Christians. Eight actors are featured in the film, portraying the interviewees’ own words. Rev. Dr. Fran Mayes, retired pastor of Tree of Life Metropolitan Community Church, and Rev. Deon Johnson of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brighton, will join us for discussion and Q&A after the film.
