This exhibition chronicles and celebrates the history of African Americans in baseball in the nation's capital despite segregation. It features more than 55 photographs, paintings, documents and artifacts illustrating the proud history of black baseball in the area. The exhibit also highlights community teams that gave rise to the various amateur, collegiate, and semi-pro black baseball teams and leagues.
