With the first half of 2006 the warmest on record for the United States, Feinstein sees increasing evidence that our planet is cooking itself to death. She will lay out a comprehensive legislative agenda to combat the issue, ranging from promoting greater vehicle fuel efficiency to the development of a national framework for businesses to reduce greenhouse gases.
