Seminar on Opportunities in the field of Analytics by Mr.Rahul Nawab January 7, 2011

A State level one-day workshop on "Career Opportunities in Statistics through Statistical Computing" is organized by the Department of Statistics, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. This seminar is aimed at creating awareness among students (B Sc Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science) of Gujarat about career opportunities of their dream in various private and government firms, with knowledge and skill of statistical methods.

Speakers from private and public sector (Industry, Corporate, Government, and Pharmaceutical) will put the role of Statistics in picture and presentation and discuss about the posts that can be bagged with knowledge of Statistics as well as how different software are useful for making career in top organization.

All T Y B Sc. (Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science) students are invited to attend this free seminar on Saturday, 8th January, 2011. The participants must register their name to concerned Head of the Department.
