Presenter: Andy Robinson, consultant and trainer for grassroots groups

Stop giving it away! Across the U.S., nonprofits earn more money by selling services and goods than they receive from private philanthropy or government funding. Andy Robinson will help small to mid-sized organizations learn how to identify their assets, do market research, and charge for their services and expertise. If you want to diversify your funding, join us.

Andy Robinson has worked with a variety of nonprofits as a fundraiser, publicist, grantwriter, and community organizer for 28 years. Since starting his consulting practice in 1995, Andy has provided support and training to thousands of nonprofit staff and volunteers in 45 U.S. states and Canada.

Andy specializes in the needs of organizations working for human rights, social justice, environmental conservation, and community development. His own activist experience includes campaigns for nuclear disarmament, toxic waste reduction, community reinvestment, wilderness protection, utility rate reform, reproductive rights, and the protection and restoration of traditional culture and agriculture. Andy lives in Plainfield, Vermont with his spouse Jan, a woodlot filled with wildlife, and a garden that is completely out of control. You can learn more about Andy at his website,
