Seattle Presents: Danny Barnes July 21, 2011

Danny Barnes is a genre-bending banjo virtuoso, guitarist and singer who rocks with electronic loops and percussion and collaborates with Dave Matthews and Herbie Hancock. Rolling Stone declares, “Barnes is a clever lyricist with a punk-rock past who understands the raw simplicity of a good country tune.” Though time-tested musical traditions inspire him, The New York Times says Barnes “tells contemporary tales that are wryly observant.”
