Hi Net Tuesday Faithful,

After a hiatus from Net Tuesday, we're back again and excited to announce February's Net Tuesday, sponsored by Democracy in Action and hosted at One Northwest's offices.

Speaking at Net Tuesday will be Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, co-founder of Moms Rising. Kristin is one busy momma who's using online communications tools with savvy strategy "to bring together millions of people who share a common concern about the need to build a more family-friendly America. Started in May of 2006, MomsRising has gained over 140,000 citizen members and is rapidly growing. More than 85 national and state organizations have signed on to be aligned with MomsRising," (momsrising.org).

Our 2nd speaker is Jeanette Russell, of Democracy in Action who'll update us on the new technology challenges organizations face in communicating with Congress and simple tactics organizations like yours can take to improve their advocacy work.
