Seattle Cherry Blossom and Japanese Cultural Festival April 19, 2009

From the booms of Taiko drums to the silence of ikebana flowers, the event is a feast for the senses. Delicious Japanese food, tea ceremony demonstrations and artwork explore this complex culture. Attendees may take part in a Go tournament and lessons, origami plane contest, martial arts expo, aviation lectures, sake sampling and many of their demonstrations and hands-on activities.
