Sean Conroy with Eddie Pepitone & Aubrey Plaza

with Matt Knudson, Eddie Pepitone, Byron Bowers, & Aubrey Plaza.

Growing up in the idyllic town of New Rochelle, New York, Sean Conroy figured that no matter what happened, he would always be able to fall back on his professional baseball career. Then he got cut from the team as a high school freshman, and joined the drama club. Eventually, he almost graduated from college, went to summer school, and moved to New York City dreaming of a successful career in show business. He spent the next six years as a junior high school science teacher, making things explode and creating tornadoes inside soda bottles. Finally, he started doing stand-up.

Since then, Sean has brought his wise-ass absurdism to clubs and colleges all over the United States. He has performed stand-up on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Comedy Central's Premium Blend. He wrote and performed the one-man show TAUGHT, which was selected for the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen, Colorado. As a writer, producer, and performer he has worked in various capacities for Comedy Central, UPN, NBC, MTV, TNT, CBS, ABC, Fox, and the Spike network. He performs regularly with the Upright Citizens Brigade in Assscat, the flagship show of their Los Angeles and New York theaters, both as an improviser and a monologist, and can be seen as a guest performer in their concert film. He is the host of a podcast called The Long Shot (thelongshotpodcast.com). Sean currently resides in Los Angeles, where he spends most days waiting by the phone for the Yankees to call.
