CAPITAL CITY SYMPHONY: SEAMLESS SYMPHONY. Experience Brahms, Beethoven and Mozart in a whole new way when four contemporary works by Evan Meier, Alexandra T. Bryant and Tomek Regulski surround performances of classic symphonic movements. The composers were asked to begin their piece in the style of the classic, then move into their own musical voice, then segue into the style of the classic to follow. This world premiere concert, conceived and directed by CCS Associate Conductor John Devlin, promises to be an innovative flowing dialogue across time and musical style.
