"Buccaneers of Yesteryear"
2006 Torchlight Parade Theme

Shiver me Timbers and hold on to your boots! The Seattle SEAFAIR Pirates have played a large role in shaping the rich history and tradition of the SEAFAIR Festival and have influenced the 2006 Torchlight Parade theme, "Buccaneers of Yesteryear!" You won't want to miss this lively celebration as the Pirates take to the streets, filling the Emerald City with a lot of song and swashbuckling mischief. All parade participants are encouraged to incorporate a Pirate theme in their unit and all spectators are invited to channel their inner "Arrgghh" and come dressed for the occasion.
