Sea Wolf is the brand new buzz band from the Eagle Rock side of Los Angeles fronted by Alex Brown Church. Its safe to say that dios malos is a unique band. Their gift is to borrow and fuse together the melodies and sounds of the past, making a fresh and new present. dios malos hails from Hawthorne, California, where the Beach Boys, Black Flag and Emitt Rhodes once called home. Joel and Kevin Morales are the sons of a on-time mariachi singer. The rest of the band, John Paul Caballero, James Cabez DeVaca, and Jackie Monzon, are friends from Hawthorne. On the strength of their self-titled full length release on Star Time Records, the band recently made the cut for the 2004 Shortlist Music Prize.
