Sea Otter Awareness Week September 27, 2009

They've got the densest fur around, they maintain balance in kelp forests, and some populations haven't recovered yet from the Exxon Valdez oil spill 20 years ago. They're sea otters, and Shedd will celebrate North America's smallest - and arguably cutest - marine mammals during Sea Otter Awareness Week. The first 100 guests each day of the celebration will get a very cool sea otter pin. Highlights include chats at the sea otter habitat, along with educational programs throughout each day.
