In honor of Asian & Pacific Islander Month, on Thursday, April 26th at 4:00pm, The Cross-Cultural Center of San Diego State University presents one of our Nation’s most respected Asian Pacific Islander activist and diversity expert, Angela Oh. This lecture and discussion at Student Services East – 1500 - offers a platform for a dialogue concerning issues of diversity, immigration and civil rights. Angela Oh has held many prominent roles including being appointed to former President Clinton’s President’s Initiative on Race Advisory Board and as a spokesperson and mediator for the Asian American community during the Los Angeles riots. She is also an ordained Priest, Zen Buddhist-Rinzai Sect. The Cross-Cultural Center will be hosting a reception with Ms. Oh immediately after her presentation at the Lipinsky Hospitality Suite, Student Services West 1808.
