SDForum JavaSIG - Key-value in the cloud: a comparison of cloud storage providers November 3, 2009

Abstract: This session will introduce key/value storage concepts and introduce several leading options including Amazon S3, Rackspace Cloud Files, Microsoft Azure Blob Service, Cloud Layer, and Nirvanix. These will be compared from a feature and code/API level. Finally, we cover jclouds which acts as an abstraction layer above these services.

Speaker's Bio: Adrian Cole is the founder of the open source jclouds project and CEO of Cloud Conscious, LLC. Adrian's 15 year career includes design and implementation of mass automation and deployment products for financial, hosting, and education contexts.
