D.C.'s hottest Irish band called Scythian (sith-ee-yin) will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 9:00 p.m. with the masses at the Philo Club in Philadelphia. With 19 shows in 4 states over the next 26 days proves that Scythian is, according to the Washington Post "one of Washington's most energetic and eclectic bands."

Scythian is comprised of four twenty-something guys of different ethnicities who started on the streets of Virginia. The lads are no stranger to Philadelphia for they have a huge following in the area ever since their stint in one of MTV's Real World shoots in Philadelphia. The guys have also landed spots in M. Night Shyamalan's The Village Voice and have recently performed at the Kennedy Center.
