Case Study COMIT AG

In the first part of the Geek Night, Oliver Knoll will share his experience about using Scrum with other participants. Since two years Oliver works in the Finace team as a software engineer with COMIT AG, a Swisscom company. He is a ScrumMaster since one year in the product development. The product Finace is used in the finance industry as a Security Lending trading platform and is developed with the Scrum process. Scrum was also successfully applied in a large project for JP Morgan Chase. The challenges they successfully mastered were convincing JPMC of their process and bringing the Scrum process knowledge to their teams in Hyderabad. Current challenges are handling customer issues with quick response time.

Jeff Sutherland

After a short introduction to Scrum, Jeff Sutherland will answer your questions in the second part of the Geek Night. Jeff Sutherland is the Co-Creator of Scrum and an experienced Scrum consultant to the world’s leading companies. His references include leading software and technology companies such as Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, MySpace, Adobe, Siemens, Sony/Ericson and Accenture. Jeff is running a Certified Scrum Master Course in Zürich on 11/12 September 2010 for people on how to radically improve the productivity and quality in development teams.
