The story of two Palestinians recruited as suicide bombers for a terrorist attack in Tel Aviv by an extremist group. When the two childhood friends are intercepted at the Israeli border and separated from their handlers, a young woman who discovers their plan causes them to reconsider their actions.

Winner of multiple prizes at the 2005 Berlin Film Festival and 2005’s Golden Globe for best foreign-language film, and nominated for an Academy Award in the same category.
