This is the inspiring story of Congresswoman Jeanette Rankin, a largely unknown historical figure who voted against war before women even had the vote. Suffragist, peace activist and reformer, Jeanette always stood by the courage of her convictions despite huge pressures and never stopped working for a more just society for all its peoples. Sen. Ken Salazar's office stated "This brilliant film has the potential to introduce key moments of history to a new generation and influence the future."
