Scrap-Soup is a multi-media dance performance with evolving installation, 3D video, live painting, and an electronic and acoustic soundscape. It features dancers Erika Tsimbrovsky (director/ choreographer), Kira Kirsch, Suzanne Lappas, Andrew Ward, and Daniel Davis, in collaboration with visual artist Vadim Puyandaev, video artist Ruslan Belorusets, and musicians Sean Feit and Albert Mathias. Scrap-Soup investigates how technology has changed what is important to us in conveying information, generating a live audio-visual-kinetic text on stage.

While the piece has a fixed structure, the performers (dancers, musicians, and visual artists) will be improvising live on stage.

An exhibition entitled "Psestic" will be featured in the Artaud Gallery for the duration of the project. On display will be painting and sculpture by Vadim Puyandaev and photography by Aleksey Bochkovsky. The exhibition is free and open to the public and can be viewed from 2:00-8:00pm, Wednesday December 17 to Saturday December 20.
