Scottish Dance Theatre opens an exhilarating new season this spring with SDT DEFINED.

Ten years into Janet Smith's artistic leadership and twenty-one since the company began, we present a programme featuring the world premiere of brand-new work from Hofesh Shechter and the return of tenderhook by Liv Lorent.

Hofesh Shechter is one of the most innovative and talked-about choreographers around today. The work promises to be honest, gritty and raw. ‘He has you on the edge of your seat, dry-mouthed, from start to finish’ (The Observer).

tenderhook is Liv Lorent’s second work for SDT following the much-loved, critically acclaimed LUXURIA. This stunning work is a rollercoaster ride through a relationship, exploring the pull between freedom and attachment. 'exquisite, a feast for the senses' (The Herald).
