Lou Palmersten and Scott Anderson have worked together for years as firefighters in St. Cloud and share a love of music. In 2004 Lou introduced Scott to music he didn't think existed anymore: Fred Eaglesmith, Robert Earl Keen and Todd Snider sing of real life stories, similar in fashion to Jim Croce and a young John Prine, favorites of Scotts from the '70s. Scott dug out his old band equipment and acoustic guitar and Lou picked up the harmonica, soon they were playing around campfires and creating a long list of folk style music. Using the harmonica like a lead guitar, blending vocal harmonies and adding a ukulele just for fun, the two have created a distinctive folk sound.
