North America’s largest busker festival – Scotiabank BuskerFest - celebrates its 10th Anniversary! Over 100 top buskers from all over the world will display their talents throughout the St. Lawrence Market district from August 27th to the 30th. Spontaneous, colourful and bursting with the unexpected, there is something for everyone at Toronto’s international street performers festival: daredevils and magicians, silent comedy and slapstick, high skill circus acts and a wide variety of music, clowns, contortionists, acrobats, aerialists, puppets, fire and a few things no words can describe.

BuskerFest promises four days and nights of non-stop side-splitting hilarity and astonishing spectacle with a powerhouse line-up that brings back the very best from the past 10 years as well as top new acts. Last year’s event attracted over 1 million spectators, young and old alike! This year’s festival will be bigger and better than ever before with a stellar line-up of street artists from Canada, the United States, Portugal, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and England.

As well as the buskers, children can also enjoy BuskerPlay, an area featuring face painting, balloon twisting, magic lessons and other family fun.
