1730 Minor Ave Suite 1100
Seattle, Washington

What do people really think of your website? Is it doing all it can to represent you and your business, or are potential clients running for their lives after visiting your pages? Come to this fun, informal, highly interactive session by two design experts to learn about web design, usability, and how it impacts your business.

The session is centered on web sites or blogs you bring. We'll put them up on the screen and teach you about what works, what doesn't and how to make them better. When we run out of volunteered sites, we go home! (Or out for some drinks).

This session is run by:

Ario Jafarzadeh: an ex-Microsoftie turned user experience designer for RealArcade.com, the world's largest distributor of casual games. He's recently completed his graduate studies in the Technical Communication program at the University of Washington and takes on UI consulting gigs in his spare time. His interests include graphic design, gaming, usability, project management, and issues relating to information anxiety. He also enjoys taking pictures and is also a huge fan of electronic music which he DJs occasionally.

Scott Berkun is a consultant, author and troublemaker. He has taught web design at various conferences, corporations and top secret hideouts (shh). He's worked as a usability engineer, interaction designer and team manager. He's the author of the O'Reilly bestseller The art of project management, and writes about web design and more at http://www.scottberkun.com

Fee: $25. Advanced RSVP required. Event limited to 33 participants.
