Science on Screen at the Coolidge Corner Theatre continues on October 29 at 7:00 p.m. with a heart-pounding event featuring Kiyoshi Kurosawa's new horror classic PULSE (KAIRO), about a rash of strange deaths and disappearances in Tokyo. Guest speaker will be Alan Lightman, physicist and novelist. Lightman, Professor of Humanities at MIT, is the author of the international bestseller, Einstein's Dreams. His latest novel, Ghost (to be released Oct.23) tells the story of David, an ordinary man who experiences an extraordinary vision that no science can explain. After the screening, Lightman will be on hand to sign copies of his book.
