Twenty-five years ago, global concert Live Aid rocked the world with performances by Queen, Madonna, U2, The Who, Duran Duran, Paul McCartney and others and raised tens of millions of dollars for famine relief in Africa. This summer, the spirit of Live Aid is being resurrected - by musicians who hadn't yet been born in 1985. Live Aid Remade, a nationwide summer tour will see rock's youngest disciples - all teenagers in the School of Rock- paying tribute to the stars who made the original concerts legendary. And like its namesake, the Live Aid Remade tour is again helping the needy, this time for the people of Haiti who suffered a 7.0 magnitude earthquake in January. With 250,000 people killed and 1.6 million still homeless and destitute, the Haitian people desperately need our help.

The featured performers will be the School of Rock All Stars, currently on a 49-city Live Aid Remade tour. Opening sets will be performed by local DC-area Schools of Rock from Ashburn, Silver Spring and Vienna.

Tickets are $15, of which $10 goes directly to Haitian relief through the charity http://www.musicforrelief.com.

Opening sets begin at 6PM with School of Rock All Stars performing at 7:15PM.
