Marin student classical musicians honored with 2013 Marin Music Chest scholarships
Emerging classical musicians perform two free Marin County concerts in April and May

WHO: Marin Music Chest presents its annual Scholarship Winners Concert

WHAT: Marin Music Chest, celebrating its 80th anniversary, presents its free 2013 concert on April 28 featuring solo performances by the 2013 scholarship winners. Scholarships were awarded to junior musicians ages 10 to 13-years and senior musicians ages 14 to 20-years old.

The 2013 Marin Music Chest scholarship recipients are: Hayaka Komatsu (viola), Katarina Lee (piano), Matthew Lee (piano), Max Norman (clarinet), Kuni Migimatsu (piano), Michelle Ramseier (piano), Benjamin Cho (piano), James Zhao (piano) and Katherine Zhao (piano), all of San Rafael; Hallie Jo Gist (flute) and Chloe K. Fung (piano), both of Greenbrae; Laura Arthur (voice) of Novato; Maverick Chen (oboe) of San Anselmo; Cesare Ruegg (piano) of Tiburon; and Max Smiley (violin) of Mill Valley.
