Schiff Dance Collective: Project Joy/Full October 17, 2009

Through movement Project Joy/Full will illuminate how living a life of joy, peace, and purpose is a choice- not a circumstance. Through discussions with Denver/Boulder spiritual leaders, artists, homemakers, including Rabbi Tizrah Firestone, Katie Elliott, Jim LaVita, and Dee Montalbano, the Schiff Dance Collective documented what motivates them, how they deal with doubt/fear, why they chose their path, and their relationship to serving their community. The experiences of these community members have been intermingled with those of The Schiff Dance Collective company members to create an evening length work to be premiered at The Dairy Center For The Arts in Boulder and Denver School of the Arts. The performance also includes original music by Boulder singer/songwriter Emma Fields and guest appearance by Emma Fields and local Hip-Hop artist Kevin O'Keefe.
