The 2.5 hour hike has been specially designed to integrate strength training exercises with the cardio benefits of an outdoor hike for an optimized and fun workout! This introductory hike is tailored for individuals who desire fat loss and muscle toning in a relaxed and supportive team environment. The hike is paced to sustain a participant's constant heart rate at 60-65% of one's maximum heart rate. Sustaining this intensity level throughout the hike causes nearly 95% of calories expended to come from fat stores leaving participants with lean muscle!
