Scenarios USA World Premiere December 7, 2010

The Scenarios USA REAL DEAL World Premiere on December 7, 2010 features three new short films written by award-winning teens and directed by acclaimed feature film notables Joel Schumacher, Malcolm D. Lee and Cruz Angeles.

These films are the latest from Scenarios USA’s REAL DEAL series, a unique educational initiative that starts in the classroom exploring cultural and media literacy, and partners young writers with distinguished Hollywood film directors to create provocative film shorts about topics that matter.

In conjunction with the film premiere is the unveiling of “Us in the Mirror,” a photography installation inspired by Man in the Mirror that focuses on the issues faced by LGBTQ youth of color. The exhibit is scheduled to tour schools across New York City and the country in the upcoming year, as part of this remarkable educational initiative.
