Portland Community College and Scappoose Bay Kayaking bring you this guided paddle that takes you to the downstream end of Sauvie Island, an area rich in history from the Chinook Indians and early fur trappers, to the settlers over the Oregon Trail. Birdwatching is rich in this wetland as well, including osprey, sea terns, juvenile eagles, and more.
Tuition and fees include safety class, all boat and gear rental and guide.
