Save The Disco! February 1, 2007

We are a group of friends who strongly believe NYC nightlife deserves better! That is why we decided to launch " Save The Disco! ", a new colorful concept which includes all the ingredients that we have been looking for: amazing DJs and live performances, good people, great vibe and an unforgetable show.

This monthly event is launching this Thursday Februray 1st at the new Room Service and we are counting on every single one of you to come down and party with us!

We are not creating another cheesy Disco Night but an evolution of Disco such as it would be if it had musically and artistically evolved untill today...

So let's embark on a journey where artists from different music backrounds will join NYC talent DJ Angola to become ONE for a night. From Afro Disco oldies and chosen 80's tunes to Funky Housy beats and bad ass San Francisco Deep House.

Moreover, Disco icon and great friend of us CERRONE accepted to be the Godfather of "Save The Disco!". He is bringing is experience to help us bring back the fun to the city, and will attend this monthly event as often as his busy schedule allows!

Every month you will have the privilege to welcome artists such as Sharon Jones (who is coming down to perform this Thursday), Lisa Shaw (Naked Music), Jay-J and who are already booked. We're working on numbers of surprises for you and your senses...

And we want all of you to contribute to the Disco-themed vibe, so get your Afro and bell bottoms on! We are serious about this so do not disappoint on the clothing style...
